Citizens of Russia addressed UN Security Counsel

Citizens of Russia addressed UN Security Counsel

The following letter of citizens of Russia has been sent to the UN Security Counsel:

To the chairman of the UN Security Council
To non-permanent members of the UN Security Council

From citizens of Russia

Dear Sirs,

During the last two decades international conflicts have broken out in the world abundantly. Important is that all casualties took place in countries, that needed support of the international community most of all (Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, now it's Iran, Syria and Russia). Well known scenarios of “colored” revolutions in the countries of North Africa and Eastern Europe assumed a character of chain reaction, and military operations undertaken by NATO in the "defense of democracy and human rights" have become habitual. All above mentioned threatens not only Russia, but international peace and security also.

Svetlana Peunova Petitioned the Supreme court of the RF

27 January, 2012, Svetlana Peunova petitioned the Supreme Court of the RF contesting decision of the Central Election Committee of the RF to refuse registration of Svetlana Peunova as candidate for president of the RF. The petition proves unlawfulness and unconstitutionality of condition for self-nominees to collect 2 million signatures for registration as a candidate for president. In which connection Svetlana Peunova requests:

  1.         To cancel the decision of the Central Election Commission of January 20 2012, № 89/711-6 “Of the refusal to register Svetlana Peunova as a candidate for president of the Russian Federation.”
  2.         To oblige the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation to register Svetlana Peunova as a candidate for President of the Russian Federation
  3.         To request the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation about conformity of paragraphs 1 and 2 of Art. 36 of the Federal Law "On elections of President of the Russian Federation" to the Constitution of the RF.

Petition requesting registration of Svetlana Peunova as candidate for president of the RF will be heard.
13, Povarskaya st., Moscow

To the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation

Petitioner: Peunova Svetlana Mihailovna.

Interested party: Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation

Petition
about cancelation of the RF Central Election Commission decision of January 20 2012, № 89/711-6 “On the refusal to register Svetlana Peunova as a candidate for president of the Russian Federation.”

On January 20, 2012 me, Svetlana Peunova, born in 1958, an adviser of the independent non-profit organization “Academy of development of Svetlana Peunova”, living in Samara city, of Samara region, a self-nominee for president of the Russian Federation was denied by Central Election Commission of the RF in registration as a candidate for the president of the Russian Federation (№ 89/711-6)

In accordance with paragraph 4 of Article 39 of the Federal Law "On elections of President of the Russian Federation," the decision of the Central Election Commission of Russia about refusal to register a candidate may be appealed to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. Central Election Commission refused to register me as a candidate for president of the Russian Federation on the basis of subparagraph 3 of paragraph 2 of Article 39 of the Federal Law "On elections of President of the Russian Federation." In the contested decision CEC pointed out that on January 18, 2012 candidate for President of the Russian Federation Svetlana Peunova submitted documents for registration, including 243 245 signatures, which does not comply with paragraph 1 of Article 36 of the Federal Law "On elections of President of the Russian Federation", which establishes the obligation of the self-nominees to collect no less than 2 million signatures of voters in their support. This decision also evidences of insufficient number of submitted by me valid signatures of voters.

Again people have no good candidates to choose from

It depends on each of us whether we will manage to unite and put the real national leader at the head of the state, eliminate the lawlessness of the government, that does not allow anyone to approach power.
On the presidential election of March 4th 2012, in ballots we will only find candidates who violated the law.

Putin violated the Constitution. Russian citizens do not have an equal right to be elected for the post of the president of the country. Party leaders as Putin, Zyuganov, Mironov, Zhirinovsky are waived from the necessity to collect 2 million signatures in their support. At the same time, self-nominees for president are to collect 2 million signatures in 20 days., which is impossible to accomplish honestly due to the lack of time. Political scientists corroborate it. They say it is rather possible to collect 100-150 thousand signatures in 20 days, but not 2 million.

Meanwhile, Prokhorov, Yavlinsky, and Mezentsev did submitted 2 million signatures to Election Commission. They only could collect those signatures on such a short period of time sitting in the office, or in other words fabricate it, and it is a criminal case, indeed. We saw a reportage how subscription lists in support of Mezentsev were fabricated. We also saw how Prokhorov's and Yavlinsky signature collectors worked. They did not have thousands of people standing in the lines to leave a signature. Results in reports they published in Medea are not authentic. A million signatures in 3 days? It is doubtful.

Urgent appeal to international community another falsification in the course of presidential campaign in Russia

On January 18, 2012 self-nominees for the president of the Russian Federation submitted signatures in their support to the Russian Central Election Commission (CEC). Prokhorov, Yavlinsky, Mezentsev submitted two million signatures required, while Svetlana Peunova did only 243 thousand. But Peunova declared it technically impossible to collect 2 million signatures within 20 days allocated by officials. She reported that her representatives in regions attentively watched how other candidate's collectors worked. They concluded other candidates also did not collect 2 million signatures, and could not do that in principle. Electoral experts corroborate the opinion of Svetlana Peunova. Evidences of signatures falsification for the candidate Mezentsev were promulgated. Media caught the group of people during signature fabrication process. Despite of it, Mezentsev submitted those signatures to Electoral Commission. Nevertheless, criminal proceedings against him were not instituted. Yavlinsky and Prokhorov are suspected in a similar activities during the collection of signatures. Obviously Prokhorov gave unreliable information about amount of signatures he collected to Mass Media. It is physically impossible to collect 1 million signatures within 3 days without fraud. It is like to walk from Moscow to St. Petersburg by foot within 3 hours. Obviously his collectors could not do that.

Svetlana Peunova suspects Prokhorov and the CEC to have committed crime in collusion

February, 07, 2012 Svetlana Peunova submitted petition to the Investigative Committee of the RF. The petition requests to check activities by Mikhael Prokhorov, candidate for presidency of the RF, the working group of the Central Election Commission of the RF, and handwriting experts involved to verify subscriptions submitted in support of nomination of Mikhail Prokhorov, for the presence of elements of crime, which are falsification of election documents (parts 1 and 2 of Art. 142 of the Criminal Code) and giving a deliberately false conclusion (Part 1 of Art. 307 of the Criminal Code). These two acts are considered to be executed by the group of people by previous concert (Part 2 of Art. 35 of the Criminal Code).

The petition proves crimes committed by Prokhorov, the CEC officials, and involved handwriting experts on every stage of registration of Prokhorov as a candidate, starting from probably antedated notification submission, and including submission of 2 million signatures of nomination supporters, impossible to collect in legally-allocated time. Yet, no complaints were expressed by experts nor the CEC's officials. Such “miracles” are only possible on condition of previous concert.

Signatures in support of self-nomination of Svetlana Peunova as a candidate for president were submitted to Central Election Commission of Russia

Today, on January 18, 2012, signatures of citizens of the Russian Federation in support of Svetlana Peunova, a candidate for president of the RF, were submitted to the Central Election Commission (CEC). There were 243 thousand signatures in total. It was a real hard work of 700 signature collectors in 61 regions of Russia. All signatures were checked by jurists, and insecure ones were crossed out off the list.

Therefore, we guarantee that submitted signatures are authentic, were collected by fair means, and in compliance with the requirements of the law. The collection of signatures revealed the fact that Russian citizens support the nomination of Svetlana Peunova for president of the Russian Federation. Yet, it is simply unrealistic to collect the required 2 million signatures within 20 days stated by officials. Applications concerning the problems were already submitted to proper instances.
